CHANDIGARH NEET UG COUNSELLING & ADMISSION 2024:-

Chandigarh UG Counselling Is Conducted By Government of Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh into Medical Courses. 

A Candidate Must Fill Out An Online Application Form To Participate In The Chandigarh NEET UG Counselling By Visiting The Conducting Authority’s Official Website https://gmch.gov.in/. The National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test Will Be Used For NEET Counseling. Only Those Who Have Qualified For NEET  Will Be Able To Participate In The Counselling Process.

Chandigarh NEET UG Counselling, On The Other Hand, Will Take Place Offline Government of Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh. The Gujarat will Be Used For Admission To 85% State Quota Seats In MBBS And BDS Courses Offered By Institutes In This State.

Chandigarh NEET UG 2024 Counselling Registration:-

Step 1: Online Registration

• Visit The Official Website For Chandigarh NEET UG Counselling https://gmch.gov.in/
• Click On The Registration Link.
• Fill In Your Details, Including:
  • Candidate’s Name

  • Nativity
  • Aadhaar Number
  • Date Of Birth
  • Category

• Review The Information For Accuracy.
• Submit The Form.

Step 2: Upload Documents

• You’ll Be Prompted To Upload The Following Documents:
  • Recent Color Photograph With A White Background (15kb-100kb), Dimention of the photograf should be 150 pixel width and 200 pixels height in jpg/ jpeg formet.
  • Signature On White Paper With Blue/Black Ink (4kb-100kb), Dimention of the photograf should be 150 pixel width and 100 pixels height in jpg/ jpeg formet.
  • Other Relevant Documents (E.G., Category Certificates, Qualification Certificates) As A Single PDF File (Size Not Exceeding 500 KB).
  • PDF format of Certificates The following certificates in PDF format should be kept ready and the same must be uploaded in the application portal. This is mandatory for all candidates.
  • Class X Certificate Candidate’s Class X (SSLC) Certificate is mandatory and to be uploaded in the online application.
  • Proof for Nativity Birth Certificate/SSLC Certificate/Passport showing the candidate’s place of birth. For details of other documents as Nativity Proof, see Prospectus Clause 6.1.1.
  • Proof for Date of Birth PDF format of date of birth proof must be uploaded in the application portal. 

Step 3: Preview Uploaded Images

• After Uploading, Preview The Uploaded Images.
• Ensure That Your Photograph And Signature Are Clearly Visible In The Appropriate Spaces.
• If The Images Are Not Satisfactory, You Can Re-Upload Them Following The Same Procedure.
• Confirm That The Spaces For Photograph And Signature Are Not Swapped.

Step 4: Declaration And Final Submission

• Review All Filled Information.
• If All Details Are Correct, Select The ‘Declaration’ Checkbox.
• Click On The Final SUBMIT Button.
• After Submission, An Application/Registration Number Will Be Generated.
• You Will Receive An Email And SMS With The Application Number And Password. Keep These For Future Reference.

Step 5: Application Fee Payment

• Click On The Provided Link For Fee Payment.
• Follow The Instructions To Complete The Payment.
• Payment Can Be Made Through Internet Banking, Debit Card, Or Credit Card.
• After Payment, Save The Payment Slip For Reference.
• Bank Charges/Payment Gateway Charges Are The Applicant’s Responsibility.
• Ensure Payment Is Made Within The Due Date.

Step 3: Choice Filling

• Make Sure To Prioritize Your Choices Carefully.
• Save And Lock Your Choices Before The Deadline.

Step 4: Seat Allotment

1. The Counseling Authority Will Conduct The Seat Allotment Process Based On Your Choices And NEET UG Rank.
2. Check The Seat Allotment Result On The Official Website Using Your Login Credentials.
3. If You’re Satisfied With The Allotted Seat, You Have The Option To Accept It.
4. If Not, You Can Participate In Subsequent Rounds Of Counseling.

Step 5: Reporting To Allotted College

• If You Accept The Allotted Seat, You Must Report To The Respective College Within The Specified Timeframe.
• Pay The Required Admission Fees And Complete The Admission Formalities.

Step 6: Upgradation (Optional)

• If You Want To Upgrade Your Allotted Seat, You Can Participate In The Upgradation Round.
• Follow The Same Choice Filling And Seat Allotment Process.

Tentative fee structure for various categories will be as under:

The fee structure for Foreign Indian Student (NRI) students is as under:

Total Charges: US $110000 + US $1000 registration charges + other university charges as applicable in lump sum at the time of admission.

In addition, college security of Rs. 50,000/- will be charged from Foreign Indian Student (NRI) at the time of admission which will be refunded after completion of the course

THE ABOVE FEE STRUCTURE IS SUBJECT TO REVISION BY PUNJAB UNIVERSITY AUTHORITIES AND SAME SHALL BE APPLICABLE ACCORDINGLY.

• Payment of fees can be made by debit card /credit Card/demand draft drawn in favour of Director Principal, Government Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh.
• The payment by Foreign Indian Student (NRI) candidates will be accepted through bank draft in favour of Director Principal, Govt. Medical College Hospital, Chandigarh. Conversion charges will be borne by the candidate only.
• If Foreign Indian Student (NRI) candidate opts to pay fee in installments instead of paying in lump sum, he/she will have to give a bank guarantee for the balance fee at the time of admission with its validity as mentioned below:-
• US $ 60000 (1st year) + US $1000 registration charges + other university charges as applicable at the time of admission + Rs.50,000/- refundable as security.
• US $ 25000 (2nd year) valid upto December 2019 US $ 25000 (3rd year) valid upto December 2020
• In case of surrender of seat, the fees and other funds deposited at the time of admission will be refunded after deduction of Rs. 1000/- (in case of General / SC/ PwD) and US$ 1000 or equivalent in Indian Rupee for Foreign Indian Student (NRI) of total amount paid at the time of admission if vacated seat gets filled up. If the seat so vacated is not filled up, the entire fee & funds deposited at the time of admission shall stand forfeited and only the security fee will be refunded after the written request by the student.

All admissions to MBBS course shall be provisional and subject to the approval by Punjab University, Chandigarh and Medical Council of India.

Chandigarh MBBS cutoff  2024  for Government  and Private Medical  Colleges  can be classified in  following  Quotas:

For Government Medical Colleges: All Government Medical Colleges have  two types of Cutoffs

1. 15% All India Quota Cutoff: The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of MCC releases the Chandigarh All India Quota MBBS  cutoff  college-wise and category-wise  in online mode for the students selected under 15% All India Quota seats.

2. 85% State Quota Cutoff: Government Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh will be regulatory body releases the Chandigarh State Quota MBBS Cutoff college-wise, category-wise  in online mode for the students selected under 85% State Quota Seats.

For Private  Medical Colleges : All Private  Medical Colleges have three types of Cutoffs

1. 50% State Quota Cutoff: Government Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh will be regulatory body releases the Chandigarh MBBS State Quota Cutoff college-wise, category-wise  in online mode for the students selected under 50% State Quota Seats.

2. 35% Management Quota Cutoff: Government Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh will be regulatory body releases the Chandigarh MBBS Management Quota Cutoff college-wise, category-wise in online mode for the students selected under 35%  Management Quota Seats.

3. 15% NRI Quota Cutoff: Government Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh will be regulatory body releases the Chandigarh MBBS NRI Quota Cutoff college-wise, category-wise  in online mode for the students selected under 15%  NRI Quota Seats.
